Laborer duties and responsibilities The duties and responsibilities of a laborer are all geared toward maintaining a clean, safe and efficient site while also supporting the overall projects.

The list of duties and responsibilities for a laborer on any given day, but not limited to, may include the following:
Cleaning and preparing sites.
Loading and unloading materials and equipment.
Use power tools and machinery (e.
g.
forklifts) when needed Following instructions from supervisors and implementing plans.
Assisting skilled tradespeople in their duties.
Requirements and skills Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 40 pounds etc.
) Good hand-eye coordination Familiarity with power tools and machinery is a plus Communication and teamwork skills Commitment to safety rules Apprenticeship or specialization is an asset, but not necessary Job Type:
