Job Summary The primary responsibility of a Project Manager is to coordinate and manage our alternative energy and solar PV system installations.
Projects located throughout California.
Essential Functions Manage and coordinate multiple active projects simultaneously.
Take sold projects all the way from post contract signing to Utility interconnection and AHJ sign off and utility PTO Communicate with the customer the entire process Communicate with sales team to ensure that ALL information required to move forward with the project has been collected Facilitate and attend a customer introduction meeting Create schedule of events Organize site survey information provided by sales team and provide it to engineer team to prepare engineering, conduct site verification of electrical infrastructure Order materials and equipment from vendors, coordinate material and equipment delivery/pick-up Review and approve invoices Enter actual cost into budget paying attention to margin fade Coordinate install dates and maintain calendar; schedule subcontractors and confirm all planned scheduling with in house install crew Provide customers with weekly project updates Work directly with Sub-contractors by receiving and logging daily reports.
Hold Sub-contractors accountable for time lines, quality, efficiency and professionalism Must be able to drive long distances using company vehicle Coordinate and schedule interconnection, infrastructure upgrades, and disconnect/reconnects with Utility companies Visit jobsites as needed to gather additional information and provide backup for installation team Provide excellent customer service at all times Adhere to and understand NewGen Energy policies and procedures Provide real time project updates to management Required experience Minimum 2 years solar experience Minimum 4 years project management experience Proficiency with Windows and general computer software Strong communication skills with field staff, office staff and customers Clean criminal record Willingness and ability to pass an initial drug test, and to submit to ongoing random drug testing, per company policy High School Diploma or GED Required Strong candidates will offer the following:
Associate's degree from an accredited college or university Knowledge of alternative energy industry Knowledge of electrical theory preferred High level of organization and attention to detail Team player, collaborative, able to work with others Excel and CRM software knowledge a plus Job Type:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
