As a Permanent Controller, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of our organization.

Responsibilities:
1.
Financial Management:
Manage and oversee the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other relevant regulations.
Conduct regular financial analysis and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
Develop and maintain financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets.
2.
Costing and Inventory Management:
Oversee the costing process, ensuring accurate calculation of product costs and inventory valuation.
Analyze and report on variances between actual and standard costs.
Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives to optimize profitability.
3.
Month-End Close:
Lead the month-end close process, including the review and reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
Prepare and analyze financial reports for management review.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end activities.
4.
Audit and Tax Compliance:
Coordinate and manage external audits, ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
Prepare and review audit schedules and support documentation.
Collaborate with tax advisors to ensure accurate and timely tax filings.
5.
Technical Accounting:
Stay up-to-date with the latest accounting standards and regulations, including ASC 606.
Research and interpret complex accounting issues and provide guidance to management.
Implement new accounting policies and procedures as required.
Qualifications:
CPA certification highly preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of multiple site accounting and costing principles.
Experience with financial statement preparation and analysis.
Familiarity with month-end close processes and reporting.
Proficiency in technical accounting and understanding of ASC 606.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
